Insurance Panel Participation

I am an authorized Network Provider for:

• Anthem/BlueCrossBlueShield

 

Out of Network Insurance

If your insurance plan has Out of Network Benefits, you may be able to seek reimbursement for all or part of the cost of your therapy.  In this instance, you would pay my full fee at time of service, and I would e-mail or send you an invoice with information required for reimbursement. Your insurance company would then reimburse you directly.

 

HSA/FSA & Taxes

Because therapy is recognized as a medical service, you may use HSA or FSA funds to pay for your therapy.

Also, because therapy is considered  medical expense, you may be able to deduct all or part of  the cost of therapy on  your taxes. NOTE:  As always, please consult your tax professional regarding any deductions pertinent to your specific tax situation. 

 

Why You May Not Want to Use Insurance

Frequently, people want to keep the record of their treatment private for professional reasons. When you use your insurance for therapy, you give your insurance company the rights to

• review the records kept on your therapy

• limit the type of services they will cover

• limit access to therapists participating on their panel
